Fisher House - Supporting Military Families

There is at least one Fisher House at every major military and VA medical center.  Cost for accommodations, per family, ranges from free to $10 per night.

National Association of Hospitality Housing

NAHHH is a referral service for a 150 nonprofit organizations throughout the country that provide comfortable lodging for families, who are supporting their loved ones during medical treatment, far from home. Cost for accommodations, per family, range from free to $15 per night.
 
Ronald McDonald House

RMH provides families with a "home-away-from-home" while their children receive medical treatment.  Families are asked to make a $5 - $20 dollar donation per night; if that is not possible their stay is free.

Children's Organ Transplant Association (COTA)

COTA provides fundraising assistance for children and young adults needing bone marrow transplants.  They also advocate for marrow, organ and tissue donation.

First Hand Foundation - Pediatric Charity

Scholarship Information

Blood Assurance Foundation
In 1999, the Foundation established a scholarship fund for high school students seeking to better themselves and aspiring to give back to the communities from which they came.  The program offers a total of twelve (1) one-year scholarships in the amount of $1,500 each.
