Asheville/Hendersonville Community of Hope Support Group Meeting

The Asheville/Hendersonville (North Carolina) Community of Hope Support Group will hold its next meeting on Saturday, September 22nd.  The meeting will be on "The Benefits of Acupuncture in Treatment of Aplastic Anemia and MDS". The meeting will be held at 1:00 pm at the Chinese Acupuncture Clinic, and the speaker will be Dr. Cissy Majebe.

Dr. Majebe is the college president of the Daoist Traditions College in Asheville. Dr. Majebe founded the Chinese Acupuncture & Herbology Clinic in Asheville, NC. She was the first chair of the North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board and was instrumental in helping to write the laws governing the practice of acupuncture in N.C. Ninety percent of Dr. Majebe patients are cancer patients, and she has experience in treating aplastic anemia and MDS patients.
