Community Fundraising Ideas
Do What You Know
What do a stretch class, a kayak scavenger hunt, and a computer class camp have in common? All of these are fundraising and awareness events planned by volunteers who followed our advice to “do what you know”!

Community events are an invaluable means of benefiting AA&MDSIF's mission and of increasing awareness about bone marrow failure diseases. The patients, families, and friends who organize these events agree that the results are gratifying, fun, and rewarding.
AA&MDSIF is fortunate to be a part of many successful community campaigns and annual fundraising events. These activities have brought in thousands of dollars to help fund medical research, patient information, support services, and educational materials.
The generosity of our donors is essential in order to continue our efforts to help bone marrow failure patients and maintain medical research for a cure. Please help our cause by supporting the programs, making financial contributions, volunteering your time, and spreading awareness.
Fundraising events have come in all shapes, sizes, and forms with a variety of themes. It is best to plan an event that interests YOU! What's the key to planning a successful fundraising and awareness event? Do what YOU know!
