Dr. Pankit Vachhani is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Associate Scientist of Experimental Therapeutics. He graduated from Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar in 2012 and on to complete his internal medicine residency at Virginia Commonwealth University, followed by a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY. Clinical Interests & Research: At UAB, he is involved in multiple clinical trials: Clinical research is at the heart of all medical advances, identifying new ways to prevent, detect or treat disease.
